Rail Revenue Settlement
Settling revenue across a multi-sided market of rail operators
Ensuring that all stakeholders correctly and reliably receive the operational revenues and/or sales commission to which they are entitled.
Enabling Integrated Mobility Through Rail Revenue Settlement
As with many transport and mobility systems there are many stakeholders in the UK rail system that ultimately ensure the delivery of services to the travelling customer. These include governmental and non-governmental industry bodies, transport operators (operating in concession, franchise or commercial models) and an ecosystem of retailers and ancillary merchants serving multiple sales channels. €14bn annual ticket revenues for 1.6bn journeys is apportioned and settled accurately and reliably across all associated stakeholders through our Rail Revenue Apportionment and Settlement platform.
The focus of this service today is on providing a consistent consumer experience so that passengers can travel across the railway network of Great Britain combining multiple routes and rail operators. Conceptually this opens the door to a marketplace whereby inventory from any mode could be shared and apportioned accordingly.
