Magellan Sécurité, the Cybersecurity subsidiary of the Magellan Partners Group, is proud to announce the acquisition of Akerva, a subsidiary of the Orians Group, and a recognized player in cybersecurity consulting and risk management. The new entity, which will operate under the name Magellan Sécurité, will create a leading Cybersecurity player offering a high level of expertise to businesses and public organizations.

By bringing together their activities, experts and know-how, Magellan Sécurité and Akerva are strengthening their ability to offer comprehensive, innovative end-to-end solutions, aligned with a shared vision to secure digital assets and environments holistically. The new entity is positioned as one of the leading independent Cybersecurity players in France, with 120 highly qualified consultants and sales of 17 million euros by 2025. Founded in 2013 by the Orians Group, Akerva stands out for its audit, Red Team and governance services, as well as its Cyber Defense Center (SOC) offering comprehensive risk prevention services. Created in 2015, Magellan Sécurité, a pure player in cybersecurity within the Magellan Partners Group based in Paris, Toulouse, Nantes and Lyon, benefits from multi-sector expertise covering Cyber strategic consulting, risk management, auditing, risk management and the integration of digital security solutions serving major accounts and ETIs. The industrial project at the heart of the merger thus guarantees a comprehensive range of Cyber consulting and operations offerings to ensure the resilience of organizations against cyber attacks, to be as close as possible to the businesses, strategies and risks of each organization, and to offer support at the crossroads of technologies and business processes. Both PASSI-qualified trusted partners, the two experts operate to the highest standards, and hold national and European government authorizations to operate in sensitive environments.

The integration of Akerva’s experts enriches Magellan Sécurité’s initial capacity to carry out maturity audits on a national and European scale, to support organizations’ CISOs in their cyber challenges, while enabling it to deploy a high-performance, responsive 24/7 SOC in multi-technologies and several languages. Already strongly positioned to support major regulations such as the IA Act, NIS2 and DORA, Magellan Sécurité is also strengthening its end-to-end approach to provide CISOs with concrete answers to new challenges and regulatory requirements.
