Magellan accelerates its European expansion and announces the appointment of Bruno Urquiza as Head of Spain
As part of its European development, Magellan, the Consulting and Technology group, today announces the appointment of Bruno Urquiza as Managing Director for Spain.
Madrid & Paris, June 9th, 2026 — Officially completed last week, Magellan’s acquisition of the Mobility & e-Transactional Services (MeTS) division of the Worldline Group marks a milestone. This transaction gives rise to an international Consulting and Technology player, now benefiting from a strong foothold in Spain.
With a presence in 13 countries, including 10 in Europe, Magellan now has four strategic locations in Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, and Cáceres. With over 580 employees on the ground and a projected revenue of €50 million for 2026, Spain is one of the group’s key markets, driven by a rapidly growing economy and accelerating major investments in digital transformation in both the private and public sectors.
The Spanish Consulting and Tech market is experiencing sustained growth, especially driven by major government modernization programs, the digitalization of businesses, and the rise of artificial intelligence.
It is against this backdrop that Bruno Urquiza has been appointed Managing Director for Spain to lead this new phase of growth.
Magellan plans to accelerate its expansion there, particularly in the banking sector—where it has established expertise—as well as in the fields of Energy and Utilities, Retail, the Public Sector, and in the industrial sector, by rolling out the Group’s comprehensive service offering.
Bruno Urquiza’s mission will be to develop all of Magellan’s Consulting and Technology activities by leveraging the Group’s unique hybrid model, which combines: Consulting (business consulting, sector-specific consulting, and IT consulting), expertise in major market platforms (Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, SAP, AWS, Google), as well as the ability to design, develop, and run 24/7 custom and strategic digital solutions for the core business operations of its public and private sector clients. This full range of services is available in public, private, sovereign, and SecNumCloud (the French government’s highest cloud security certification) environments.
“Spain is a priority market for the Group’s development. We have every confidence that Bruno Urquiza will accelerate our expansion there, strengthen our existing operations, and enhance our local offerings to better address our clients’ needs. I extend my warmest congratulations to Bruno Urquiza and wish him every success in his new role.”

Chairman and co-founder of the Magellan Group.
Bruno Urquiza's Background
With a 30-year career at the crossroads of Consulting and Tech, Bruno Urquiza began his career at Capgemini, where he built solid expertise in IT transformation. Ten years later, he joined Kerensen Consulting, a Salesforce pure-player acquired by the publisher, further honing his skills in business development and supporting key accounts. He then pursued an entrepreneurial venture in consulting, which allowed him to refine his business acumen and execution skills.
Bruno Urquiza joined Magellan in 2016, where he successfully developed and co-led the Salesforce business unit (€35M in revenue and 300 employees), helping to make it a major driver of growth and positioning for the group on CRM and digital transformation challenges.
He then took charge, starting in early 2026, of the commercial integration of MeTS’ business integration within the group, as well as the development of commercial synergies across the new group.
His Franco-Spanish background is a key asset in building strong ties with local teams and clients, and in embodying the proximity and agility that are at the heart of the group’s identity. With this background, Bruno Urquiza is ideally positioned to make Magellan a unique player in Consulting and Technology transformation in the Spanish market.
